I have spent years hoping that Demon Stone would be added to Steam and I am still shocked that it actually happened. This may be nostalgic bias but Demon Stone is awesome, it may not look or play the best coming from the PS2 but i think it is a super fun and unique game worth playing. The OST alone is a masterpiece! This was one of the best games I played growing up. Even though it isnt canon it was still awesome seeing characters and hearing about locations from some of the Forgotten Realms book series' pop up throughout.1 found this helpful

Although I'm giving it a thumbs up, I took forever to get around to playing this all the way through because even on easy level, the constant swarms of enemies ruined this game for me. Then I found a trainer that allowed god mode and maxed rage meters because your teammates seemed to NEVER get theirs up to full strength and you are frequently interrupted in fights so your rage meter goes down. Let's do some negatives first: - CTRL to jump? WTF??? Using WSAD to move and trying to jump ledge to ledge when the stupid camera locks or moves on its own while you're lining up the jump was so frustrating. You have no camera control. - Swarm after swarm of enemies against 3....THREE heroes. You are totally surrounded like the game Gauntlet and are constantly knocked down and have to get up to fight. Oh yeah..you got knocked down so your rage meter dropped and you can't use a power attack to break them up. (Trainer for maxed rage helped a lot) - Long boss battles due to weak heroes. When you fight the snake god monster, it gets stronger the more it eats. Enemies ignore you while you're hitting them and he eats them anyway so you have to put them down FAST. I'm really curious on why this version of Demon Stone is as bad as it is. We do have a much better version of it on GOG, so why didn't they just port over that instead of one where the frame rate is capped at 30 with no other additions whatsoever?
one of the best bad games i've ever played.
