Infuriating game, that's the summary, it really is the best way to describe it. So the premise of the game is basically turn based football, I went into it thinking it was fairly strategy heavy, well it is not. Its RNG heavy, the amount of times the CPU was making the craziest plays that either countered me perfectly (even when attempting to break the "obvious" strategy run) or outright managed to thread the needle between all my defenders over and over, left me frustrated as all hell. On top of that I found out after a few games and a lot of match restarts that the AI will change plays depending on how you move your guys, as in... before you commit your turn the AI will change how it will play, so your strategy is sometimes completely pointless and this leads to the frustrating part. I have one SP achievement left that I am grinding and honestly I don't know if I have it in me to keep trying to get it. MP wise... 0 players considering its a fairly old game by now, that happens, so the MP achievements will be tough to get until someone adds me from the thread I made to trade wins. Not sure why this only shows as 0.1 hours on record when I definitely played for more than that but I can't recommend this. It's a downgrade in almost every way from Frozen Synapse while also feeling less polished. It was rough in 2015 and there's no way I could recommend it in 2026.

Old school football-like sim. Similar to Blood Bowl, but probably not quite as interesting at this stage. Awkward controls.

Could be a great game. Has good AI, fun mechanics... But clunky UI.
