Объемная История (2022)

‘Объемная История’ which translates as “Volumetric History” also features a collection of 5 360° videos. There is “Baptism of Russia”, “Liberation of Moscow from Poles”, “Shipyards of Peter”, “Capture of the Reichstag 1945” & “Gagarin’s flight into space”. To be fair the animation inside each video is pretty good and there are also a few models to hold and a short quiz to enjoy. It is at least free which is a good thing because all the videos are freely available on Youtube anyway. If you are looking up the history of Russia it might be worth a look, but most people will avoid it like the plague given the current war situation. While the voice narration and text is all in Russian you can still get the gist of what is going on, but it would have been nice to have English subtitles as well. If you think you might be interested, do give it a go as it is free anyway.

The game lacks language support for non-Russian speakers. Despite this drawback, The historical content can still be roughly understood by those interested in informative experiences. It offers a decent free VR experience with five to six sections, each focusing on a different historical period. Each section features video contents and accompanying mini games. The 360-degree animations, although some of them have low resolutions, give a general idea of the historical periods. The animations could have been better if they were real-time 6dof experiences instead of pre-rendered 3d videos. Choosing such a way to narrate information makes no sense for today's vr devices, probably they have been originally designed for Google Cardboard or 3DOF mobile VR devices before. However, not all the things are designed as 3DOF. Mini games are ok-ish for today's VR expectations. Out of 5 mini games, two of them are low poly miniature games that could have been more fun if they were longer and more challenging. Игра "Объемная История" - это восхитительный опыт, погружающий в мир крафтинга и приключений с уникальным визуальным стилем. Воксельная графика, похожая на живой конструктор, создает ощущение уюта и располагает к творчеству. Игровой процесс достаточно разнообразен: от добычи ресурсов и строительства до сражений с монстрами и выполнения заданий. Приятно удивила система крафта, позволяющая создавать множество предметов, от простых инструментов до сложных механизмов. Особое внимание хочется уделить атмосфере игры. Она наполнена спокойствием и умиротворением, что делает "Объемную Историю" отличным способом расслабиться после напряженного дня. Хотя в игре и присутствуют враги, акцент сделан именно на исследовании мира и созидании. Конечно, не обошлось и без небольших недостатков, таких как некоторая однообразность ландшафта и упрощенная боевая система, но они не сильно портят общее впечатление. В целом, "Объемная История" - это отличная игра для любителей крафтинга и приключений с очаровательным воксельным стилем. Рекомендую!
