Let's be honest - a ghost in your house can be a real pest. For centuries we have accepted hauntings as unexplained phenomena which we can do little to stop. Side affects of living in a haunted home can include sleepless nights, headaches, smog everywhere and in some cases even physical damage in the house.
Enough is enough, with your help we intend to put an end to these paranormal pests. Build, manage and develop your own team of talented ghost hunters.
With the income from your team's work you can equip them with some amazing gadgets, but manage your budget with care not everything is as useful as it may appear. Hunt your customers ghosts down - property damage should be kept to a minimum. Take on the ghosts, follow the map, take in the lovely sites and stunning landmarks.

Over 100 hidden references to other classical video games, movies or books are hidden as text or graphics in the game.
We have created over 90 devices of which most are actually useful in the game and a few dozen are actually pretty useless, but funny.
About 100 news messages are sent to the in-game smartphone to tell players about the story line or some absurd 100% made up stories that the player may or may not read. Also presenting 20 manufacturers of ghost hunting equipment in company profiles.

A hidden gem of a game in the spirit of Xcom but puts you in the role of a ghost hunting crew straight out of the Ghost Busters film franchise. The only sad thing is there has not been an update in years but its still very playable. You can take contracts to rid locations of ghosts. Like the movies you have all sorts of gadgets to drain ghosts power and then trap them. You can sell ectoplasim and buy gear or use it to research upgrades for your gear. You roam the city in a car and have to get gas and travel to hospitals for healing. Other Ghost crews can steal your jobs if they intercept the location before you do. Its a fun game with some simple 80s style music. Its just a shame that its been abandoned but it can be played and finished.1 found this helpful
Wow. I'm shocked at all of the negative reviews. This game doesn't deserve so low of a rating. I've played a *lot* of TBT games, and this one ranks higher than most. There's lots of variability, originality, content, challenge, strategy, replay-ability, and humor to keep you interested for quite a while. If you want a strategy game in the long, LONG wait between masterpieces, this will tide you over.1 found this helpful
Its like Ghostbusters crossed with X-Com lite. Why did I stop playing this again? *Barely an hour or two into new game and ghosts gets glitched creating unwinnable encounter* Oh yeah, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jank.
If you enjoyed the original 90s X-Com, Xenonauts, or Fire Emblem, then you'll like this. It's like those, but with Ghostbusters.
What everyone wants in a ghostbuster game! Perfect blend of tactics game play, equipment & character management tied into a business sim. Great gameplay and a must buy for a classic game enthusiast!
