Grabity is a really fun little arena brawler built around a simple idea that works much better than I expected. I am controlling a robot with a Grab gun, and instead of relying on a normal collection of weapons, I can grab objects around the arena and throw them at whatever is in my way. I can also use those same objects as shields, which means I am constantly deciding whether I should grab something to attack or keep it in front of me for protection. It makes the fights feel chaotic without making the basic controls difficult to understand. The physics are easily the best part for me. Crates, barrels and other objects become part of the fight, and I have to think about where they are going rather than simply pointing a weapon at something. I can grab an object in midair, throw it back at another robot and use the environment to create opportunities for myself. The movement also has a nice amount of freedom, with hovering and aerial movement making positioning important. Once I get comfortable with the physics, I can start doing much more than just throwing the nearest box at whatever is closest. I also like the different game modes and arenas.
