About Hamstörm
The mines of the great city of Hamsteria were peaceful and thriving, until the day the horrible rats of the Chedd’Ore clan attacked! Now, the valiant Hamstörm must go back to the city to warn the people about the arrival of these nasty rodents in their tunnels.
Travel through a fun and colourful puzzle game, in which you will help Hamstörm make his way inside the mine’s tunnels, now infested with terrible rats! Whether it’d be by destroying crystals, shattering the ground beneath their feet or by setting off traps, you’ll need every trick in the book to make it out in time!
This game was developed over 15 weeks by a group of 6 students from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi as part of a bachelor's capstone project.

I thought finally a student project (or game in general) done mostly well, making it one of the very few recommendable hitman go-likes, but having played till the end, I can't recommend it because it's [b]buggy as ♥♥♥♥[/b] (another review claims it's 'flawless', yeah, right). controlling a hamster is a nice bonus, offered for free is another, but [b]sometimes killing an enemy won't let you move anymore, gotta reset to fix it[/b]. happened to me on level 10 and a few times on level 11. no problem if it's the second move, huge problem if it's the 27th. what's more, level 11 is essentially 3 levels in one, and when near the end of the 3rd area I couldn't even reset anymore (it only resets the current map), I had to quit (the pause menu was still responding) and found out that [b]mid-level progress isn't saved[/b], so I would've had to re-do the previous 2 sub-levels as well. ♥♥♥♥ off. settings available anytime are resolutions, windowed mode, overall gfx quality setting, a few languages and separate volumes for music, sfx and dialog, so the [b]annoying gibberish can be muted separately[/b], as it should be. no toggle for instant text to get rid of the also annoying typewriter effec…5 found this helpful

It's free and it's a pretty good turn based puzzle game. You play a hamster miner who is working way through the mines defeating the rats by using your noggin. Some of the challenges are pretty fun to get! It has achievements.2 found this helpful

this game is a very fun and challenging game if you were like me and like dwarf games but also like Puzzles and like cute animals then this is the game for you long live the hamster dwarves
