About Hard Minus Classic Redux
Many-many alternative realities are existing in game universe, and in every of them happens something extraordinary. And for solving troubles at this problem zones exist corporation "HARD MINUS", which hiring restless souls from rest of the galaxies. Soldiers, mercenaries, even weebs-outcasts - they forced to die again and again for corporation and these interests. But "life" isn't so boring.
Unlike our character. Falling from the tree saving neighbor cat, he even does not suspect thats he became one of corporation employer. Or he is... Hitting in XIX centry he saw that period doesn't looks like in history books. Robogopniks, mutated flysqirrels, gooses with flamethrowers. This one of that plase, that need to be solve his problem. After courator's call, taking huge arsenal, our path going to the heart of siberian taiga, at the epicenter of anomaly. Thats where the journey begins.

Hard Minus Classic Redux is a console style 2D retro pixel side scrolling platformer/shooter where you control some guy and have to jump around, avoid obstacles and time traps, and shoot baddies. It's refreshing to see a game that doesn't seem to be an asset flip or a game construction kit template. They genuinely tried to make a video game. Kudos to the developers. Unfortunately, the game needs to be assessed as a game. The game doesn't display properly in fullscreen. Despite an option for fullscreen in the settings, the game simply displays in a window taking up the bottom right corner of the screen, which can't be moved or resized. That's a dealbreaker, but there's worse. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution and controls are locked. These flaws push this game far below minimum acceptable standards for PC.7 found this helpful

Decent game, especially for the price (which is pretty much free). Challenging at first, but shooting and gameplay makes it pretty satisfying to play through for multiple tries. My only gripe is that sometimes the levels are designed that without knowing enemy placement it's pretty much impossible to clear the level with only 1 try no matter how good you are. English localization has some mistakes as well, but considering that there's barely any text, it's minor. Would recommend to people who like sidescrollers and shooters, shooting is pretty satisfying with different weapon types.4 found this helpful
