Or, will you start your own criminal empire, and accomplish the biggest heist in the history of the planet? Are you a loyal subject, or will you join the ranks of the rebels attempting to overthrow the rule of the Elders over the galaxy?

- Import your character from Book 1, Hero or Villain: Genesis, or make a new one.
- Choose from dozens of powers. You can pounce your enemies with the power of your fists, strike them down with hellfire, take control of their minds, dodge their attacks with your super-speed, or teleport behind their backs to strike them.
- Build your own gadgets, improving the quality of your armour or the weapons mounted on it.
- You can also learn new alien technology and design even more complex projects that will decide your fate in battles.
- Manage your relationship with your colleagues to help them succeed, or strike them down.
- Play as male, female, or non-binary, and romance many of the other characters!
- Several illustrations to enhance your experience.
- Variety of different game paths, with multiple side missions and endings.
- Several different difficulty settings. Play as a mighty invincible hero, or just somebody only slightly more powerful than an average human.

I'm genuinely angry I played this pile of crap and I subsequently decided to get a refund for my $5. Not because I need it but because I don't want the author to have it. The story isn't interesting (standard alien-themed battle royale setting), the choices are mostly non-existent (your experience is on rails for at least 90% of the game), the new characters aren't interesting, there is only one character held over from the first game...and you barely get to see or interact with her. Oh, and she dies. Spoilers. On top of that, to get a "good" ending, you need to follow an insanely precise path...but this game doesn't have any walkthroughs or guides or anything, so GOOD LUCK! The author has hinted that there's some convoluted path to maybe changing some of the "bad" outcomes of the ending, but he thinks it is cute to not clearly answer how to do so and no one on Reddit, the discussion page for the product on Steam or the Choice of Games forum has figured it out, so once again, GOOD LUCK! Finally, the game is, once again, not a complete story. It is just another chapter...but the third part is, apparently, being delayed by an utterly Quixotic attempt to turn this novel into a c…6 found this helpful

I recently bought the first and second. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the first game, it wasn't really a great cyoa, but it was fun. I could see playing it a bunch of times testing out a ton of different builds and different kinds of heroes/villains. That's not the case with this one for one very glaring reason. It ends more abruptly than any story or game I've ever played in my life. I don't know if it was intended, but if it was the author is insane to expect any support at all for future games. This game seemed interesting and fun while it lasted, but then it abruptly ended at a certain formal ball sorta place. I've read that others seem to have been able to get past that part, but I wasn't able to, the game just abruptly ended. Nothing happened, there wasn't a natural ending point, it just suddenly ended. I don't know if it was a bug or what, but it left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm honestly kind of mad. Again, I was enjoying this one quite a bit (even though there were certainly things I didn't care for, a lack of any of the characters from the first being the main one) it just suddenly stopped. I haven't fully gone through a run yet, but I have to say I definitely do not really enjoy this game. It's somewhat fun as a power fantasy, but the narrative and writing has many problems-some of them down to the level of just the way things are formatted. I don't recommend this as a stand alone or even as a followup from the first game. Buy if on sale and you want to do some dumb, indulgent thing like an 1000 point easy character (or a super powered furry). -Multiple scenes or event chains are basically word to word copies from the first game with light reskins done to various nouns to make it fit. -The fight scenes and choices are as repetitive as in the first game. I have crazy powers and abilities, give me more than the same set of actions with the same one or two sentence descriptions and linear structure for every fight (meet the last gladiator on your way in, get the same set of options to interact with the crowd, get introduced to the new gladiator, then get a several 'turn' long combat with the same actions as every other combat, rinse and repeat). You can do more with super speed and super strength than throwing one object at an enemy per fight or dashing around them to…
Why is the Metallic Skeleton implant not available for purchase? I have enough money to buy it
i really try but its unreadable and no fun. The first one was good. This one is not good.
