Hero Tale is a modern idle RPG inspired by classic idle games, designed to be your perfect background companion. Start the game, let it run, tackle other tasks. Gain experience to unlock unique abilities! Upgrade massive skill tree with almost 300 nodes. You want to regenerate faster than your enemies can hurt you? Strike them down before they can even reach you? Or maybe be so tough they barely can make a scrach on you? You decide how you want to progress!
Explore unique island set in medieval fantasy with beautifully hand painted backgrounds. Can't defeat enemies on one tile? Try different one to get around!
Use loot that suits your fighting strategy the best. Decide which statistics will be your priority and which ones you will have to sacrifice for efficiency.
Train your skill with each hit dealt to enemies. Use meele weapons, ranged or magic to level up every skill to become faster and more powerful.
Get to know the entire cast of characters, in story filled with humorous dialogues. Talk to them, help them with quests and they will help you to grow stronger.And when it looks like you are getting stuck, remember, practice makes perfect!

Bought it because the art was nice, and I'm a sucker for talent trees. Unfortunately, that's all about all this game has going for it. Too slow. Too repetitive. Weirdly active combat - blocking and performing a critical attack are manual processes. Some of the items do not stack. QOL DLC costs more than the game, even after the dev lowered the cost. Dev said some of these things would be addressed, but the game hasn't been touched since February. Seems to have moved on to other projects and is dismissive of complaints/feedback. I cannot recommend this game. The balance is non-existent. That huge skill tree that makes it look like there are a bunch of different playstyles, it doesn't matter. You need to fill the entire thing to progress through the game and even then you have to keep leveling.3 found this helpful

Good game if u like slow ones. Nice story characters and items. First run is slow but after the first one it gets better. best advice: save bb arrows for prince.Would recommend.1 found this helpful
for a idle autobattler its way too boring . and way too slow. the talent tree is big. but useless with simple stat +30 hp and 90 for the big one. and for a paid game. you need dlc ? w/e dont bother. i gave it a good 28hours to see "if its beter" its not
they need to fix the stupid skip screen it beeen a year now that it bug... dont support this they dont care about game being broken
