Amazing Fun Game, developer really listens to the fans and it has been fun watching all the progress with this game. I been following since 2019 and look forward to more work on it.

HOBL2 is a cross between Heroes of Might and Magic and a dungeon crawler. Compared to HOBL1, there are more classes and they're more balanced (No archetypes, pick from 3 sub-classes, and you can't buy skillbooks). Level/enemy scaling is a bit better, high level enemies don't have as absurd HP, though neither do you. Dungeons are more interesting; both better looking and having more objects to interact with (lights/torches that can be turned on and off, coins and books on shelves, gear upgrade anvils, etc.) The biggest difference so far is that enemies don't spawn out of dungeons and invade (at least that I've seen, 48 hours in). They can also still do decent melee damage when equipped with an elemental weapon of a type they have a bonus for. In g…

The game is in great condition! It has a cool vibe visually. And the play from the first game is there. There is a ton of content. So much that I recommend playing on a smaller map and upping the XP rate to speed things up.

6 years and this is all the game is so far? hard pass. It is obvious it will never be complete. Bare bones and half baked. Whats with the audio? Just sound bytes on repeat. Just horrible
