Hex Strikers

Pretty simple clicker style hex building roguelike, and when I say simple, I mean simple concept with pretty interesting mechanics. Definitely worth a little of your time since it's free.

This game is pretty solid as of now its free and 100% worth it, I love the mechanics and its a refreshing style to most Balatro style roguelikes out there. Honestly, I don't see my self putting over 30 hours into the game but its a fun game to keep you hooked for a week.

Its straightforward carnival theme makes the mechanics easy to understand initially, but underneath the playful presentation is a system that rewards careful planning and experimentation. A run begins on a modest scale, with the player working from a single hex and gradually expanding the setup. Striking generates tokens, which become the foundation of progression by allowing new upgrades and improvements to be purchased. The basic objective sounds simple: create increasingly valuable strikes and push the score as high as possible. What gives the concept longevity is the number of ways those values can be manipulated. Great first game for the devs to put up on steam. Def can sink a good amount of hours into it. Great for a casual session.
