A budget-priced home detective agency game where you're transported to different crime scenes through the magic of VR / AR. You use one of your 3 tools to try to piece together the clues to solve the mystery. You can use a heat scanner to see where recent movements were made, a fingerprint kit to try to find latent fingerprints around the crime scene, and a mobile phone ping contraption where you can hack into messages left behind. You then pick out the culprit from a list of suspects, along with answering several questions about how the crime happened. You are then graded on how well you did. If you did everything right, you even get to see a confession or if you fail, the case will be thrown out of court. Each case has a little story to it & the VOs are a nice bonus for such a budget-priced game. Game is running on the Unity Engine. A bit short but ok if you get it under promotion. Work well with VR. Translation seems to have been done by some AI and you may need to switch back to English to solve some cases.

About 90 minutes long. Fun problem solving. Some jank on object interactions, not too bad. Grab it on sale. Works on Vive with wands.

I really wanted to like this. It has some decent ideas, but the execution is flawed. The detective work is ok but the conclusions are nothing more than educated guesses. There's way too much conjecture. You can find all of the clues and still not be confident who the main suspect is. You can theorize, but that's not being a detective, that's just gambling with peoples lives! The grabbing collision is really bad and slows you way down. There's these completely useless and annoying puzzles where you have to way your hands around and "collect" these "data clouds" but it's completely non-sensical and the game doesn't do jack to explain how to do this non-sense. It wasn't until like the 5th mission I think I sorta got what they wanted me to do after completely fumbling like a weirdo for 4 cases prior. That needs to be completely changed, it's not fun and it's not detective work. The control to crouch and raise is so touchy that you'll turn and be constantly jolting up and down, da heck!
