CSI VR: Crime Scene Investigation is the first episode and unique game of an upcoming CSI VR game series we are glad to introduce you. A realistic crime solving experience game for HTC Vive and/or Oculus. The aim is to find the murderer following the solving process.
A vicious murder has been committed. This case needs a bold point of view to be solved and you will be the one who is sharp enough to solve it. Two households -husband and wife- were killed and the killer left evidence behind. Follow the traces, find the evidences that will lead you to the murderer, examine all in the laboratory and never forget that the killer is among us.
You will be experiencing a whole case solving process of a CSI. It’s your time to be smart, discern what is going on around and leave nothing underinvestigated.

The game has a great concept, however the execution in INSANELY lack-lusting and just poorly done. The optimisation is garbage, the controls are super clunky and trash. They're explained in a super half-done way. Things are not explained as they should, it feels like a big empty world with some free assets thrown into it. They explain to you how to grab items and how to move. But not how to interact with said items or even how to control the menu's in the lab. There's bugs that make things disappear and makes you have to restart FROM THE BEGINNING. Just hoping that it doesn't happen again and prevents you from progressing. Things fly over the place, you can clip through walls unintentionally. Collision does not exist in this. I feel like these are basic things they could have fixed easily in the TWO YEARS this has been around. Big hard pass. Good concept, not well made at all.5 found this helpful

Looked like something id be interested in, even if the visuals were low. I wish I read the reviews, but.. it would not have helped, since I was unable to even get the game to launch. just stuck in the launch menu.... forever.
I open the game and I see nothing. Why???
Couldn't get the game to run (check out how many hours I've allocated to doing so! - can't refund now...) Still not loading on the Valve Index (Steam Requirements states support for Valve Index, HTC and Oculus - though Dev only mentions HTC and Oculus tests and results from paying public). Left it running for ages / tested after Steam VR updates too - came back to same black loading screen with small grey box bottom right with bunch of lines - guess it was a message box that crapped out. I'll come back with a more positive review once the Index is patched.
I would love to try this game but i got stuck in the loading screen forever... (Ryzen 7 3700x, 32GB Ram, RTX 2080, Valve Index) As i only payed a few bucks i hesitated to refund as i hope it will run some day.
