About Hope of Humanity
The idea of the game is to build your space station from scratch. You are an admiral, who manages the station. In the process of constructing the station, you can choose your model parts of the station. You control the life on the station. You can strength your station buying turrets and armor. The goal of all fortifications is to guard against alien invasion, which can occur at any time, while the player chooses this moment himself. You can direct your turrets to the targets you define and open fire on them.
Your main task is to survive during numerous attacks of aliens, which will be more dangerous and large-scale each time. You get points if you destroy enemies. The number of reflected attacks is your rating in the game.

Игра 'Hope of Humanity' оказалась приятным сюрпризом! Поначалу простая стратегия по управлению ресурсами быстро разрастается в захватывающий опыт по спасению человечества от надвигающейся катастрофы. Механики интуитивно понятны, хотя для полной оптимизации приходится поломать голову. Особенно порадовала система развития технологий и необходимость принимать сложные моральные решения, влияющие на судьбу выживших. Графика довольно скромная, но это компенсируется увлекательным геймплеем и напряженной атмосферой. Чувство ответственности за каждую жизнь делает игру невероятно захватывающей, а ощущение прогресса мотивирует продолжать даже после нескольких неудачных попыток. Из минусов можно отметить некоторую однообразность в поздней игре и не всегда логичное поведение AI. Тем не менее, 'Hope of Humanity' - это крепкая стратегия с интересной задумкой, которая определенно заслуживает внимания любителей жанра. Рекомендую!
