I Am Future: Cozy Apocalypse Survival

I had a good time playing through the game. I was originally thinking of going for all achievements, but ultimately decided against it as it would have been a HUGE grind and I don't think would have been fun, but I felt like where I stopped felt like a good place to leave it. The main problem I had with the game was optimization. There was a lot of UI stuttering, strange sound distortions, really long loading screens, and stuff like that, which detracted from the experience. I still think the game was good enough to give it a good play through, but just keep in mind that there are issues, and I would also say completionists beware. I would wager I would have probably a good 10 to 15 hours more to play to reach 100%, and most of that time would not be fun.

I think it is abandoned by developers...

The game's concept may be good, but if you keep discovering one bug after another over the course of a dozen hours and still can't figure out what to play, the conclusion is obvious.

It's fun :) challenging but not stressful and it's got a cute aesthetic.

There is a lot more game here than I was expecting. I keep thinking I'm nearing the end only to find another area I haven't been to. I'ts quite easy in some respects, and quite confusing in others. My only complaint is that I wish the details of the quests could be looked at after it is given. I frequently miss the details, usually clicking for some other reason, and there is no quest log that I can find. You'd think it would be in the journal.

I hate to say it, but I ended up not liking it much. I was expecting...well, not an open world game. But a game where I could sort of set my objectives and gather my resources and do things in the way I wanted to do them. But instead, everything here seems to want to be completed in a specific order. To unlock This, you need That. To unlock That, you need Another Thing. You have to more or less process in a seemingly linear order....there are few points where you are free to "explore", because you are always trying to seek out something very specific. In games like Raft, for example, you are given a limited "roam" space, but the game finds ways to "explore" and find random objects that you can then gather and decide what to do with. For whatever reason, I also seemed to be constantly having inventory issues as well. Sometimes, it was me running out of inventory space. Other times, it was having trouble keeping my chests organized so I could find what I was looking for. I found myself struggling at a couple of points trying to find the last of a particular object I needed to progress (because there were only three total available for me to get, and I already had two wi…
