I really wanted to like Insectum - Epic Battles of Bugs, but unfortunately it feels pretty shallow and underwhelming. The core idea of insect battles with card mechanics sounds interesting, but in practice the gameplay becomes repetitive very quickly. After a few levels, it feels like you’re just doing the same thing over and over without much real strategy or depth. The game advertises around 60 levels, but they don’t feel meaningfully different from each other. Another issue is the lack of content. There are only a handful of insects and limited mechanics, which makes progression feel slow and not very rewarding. Matches are short, which might be good for some players, but here it just makes the experience feel a bit empty rather than engaging. The visuals are okay, but nothing special, and the overall presentation feels more like a mobile game than a полноценный PC title. Also, the fact that multiplayer is local-only really limits replayability. Overall, it’s not a terrible game, but it feels too basic and lacks the depth needed to stay interesting for more than a couple of hours. I’d only recommend it at a very low price, if at all.
great card game with unique mechanics
Игра приятно удивляет сочетанием стратегии и карточных механик. Собираешь насекомых, прокачиваешь их и постепенно находишь рабочие комбинации - каждый бой требует немного подумать и адаптироваться. Проходится легко и затягивает за счёт разнообразия уровней и билдов.
Прикольная игра про насекомых, немало насекомых которых можно разблокировать, 5/5
