The only really good thing about this game is the graphics. It's a Corridor 7 clone that is broken in the way it controls to the point that it's both jarring and nauseating. There are only three short levels and they all play the same. The only enemy that was able to kill me was this chomper creature that takes all your health at close range, the other enemies deal pitiful amounts of damage. Since you can barely turn the mouse for some reason, the creature will take all your life in two seconds so the main game consists of carefully opening doors and backing away while trying to turn as little as possible while you shoot. Level three has a long empty corridor that looks like it's saved for a boss or something but actually contains nothing. Open the door, you get some stats and you are kicked back to the title screen. Seriously, there are 100 games of this type that are better. The original Corridor 7 had multiple keys, visors for detection of things like infrared, a map system, multiple ammo types, boss fights, etc. and that game came out in the 80s. Even for an indie game I was mostly irritated and happy that it was a very short experience. Try Gastro Force, it's similar to this…

A Wolfenstein-style game from 1982 No story as such, but it's great old FPS for killing time!

Not really worth it - only has 3 levels. The final level looks like an arena reserved for boss fight but there is no boss. There are no controls remapping. I can recommend it for the price if there's at least even one Wolf3D episode's worth of gameplay in there. It's more like a demo. You get 3 weapons, can only pick up 1 clip's worth of ammo for them. That's fine from a gameplay design perspective as all 3 levels are not really difficult to go through.

If you're already a fan of Blake Stone, Wolfeinstein 3D, Corridor 7, etc then you'll probably feel right at home. The ammo system is bizarre though. All the ammo pickups will work for all of the guns but they don't share a pool of ammo. Instead whatever gun you're holding when you pick it up will get replenished. Each gun only holds one magazine so once you've shot that, you'll need to find more ammo but you can't grab extra ammo for later. It's missing music altogether which is rather disappointing but that in and of itself doesn't ruin the game. Health pickups are just giant green barrels for some reason. It took me a minute to figure out they were health. It lacks variety in enemy types at least up to where I played. I know other games in the era it's mimicking take awhile before they introduce more than 3 enemy types so it could be a case where it expands the roster as you go along. Same is true of the weapons. In line with the era it's mimicking as well, it doesn't autosave so make sure you remember to save so you don't have to start all over. The lack of configurable controls is a bit annoying but the default control scheme is WASD with Space as the use key so it's in line …

As soon as I enter the game, no matter what I do with the mouse, the mouse slides. Even if I shoot, the mouse slides to the right. I cannot move the mouse up or down. No matter where I turn, the mouse turns to the right. Developers, please help.
