About ISOLAND4: The Anchor of Memory

"ISOLAND4: The Anchor of Memory" belongs to which part of the ISOLAND series? Does it continue the story from "ISOLAND3: The Dust of the Universe," or does it start a new chapter? Can it truly unravel the past and present of the Lost Island?

You'll only know after you've played it yourself. Wait a moment... even after playing, you might not necessarily know. :)

Since the first ISOLAND, this journey has been full of twists and turns, both in the game and in real life.

ISOLAND4 continues to pay homage to literature, art, and music like its predecessors, with more intricate maps and puzzles. However, the foundation lies in richer Easter eggs, more mystical dialogues, and more abundant emotions.

This installment emphasizes the characters in the story, featuring both familiar and new faces. They assist you in rediscovering the island's secrets while unraveling their own life mysteries.

Do not overlook any detail; do not miss any conversation.

Things that seem useless may offer players more contemplation on the fate of life.

This ISOLAND is dedicated to my mother.

I think I enjoyed this one a bit more than the previous efforts. These guys continue to improve! Another solid 5-6 hours of fun puzzling. Easy recommendation, especially considering the ridiculously low asking price!

This is the most non-linear entry in the series so far, and I really enjoyed that change. There’s no notepad this time, but the quick scene-travel system makes moving around much more convenient!

ISOLAND4: The Anchor of Memory is a thoughtfully crafted point-and-click adventure that continues Cotton Game’s distinctive approach to surreal storytelling and cerebral puzzle design. As a later entry in the ISOLAND series, it does not attempt to reintroduce itself in conventional ways, instead confidently immersing players in a strange, fragmented world where meaning is uncovered through observation, experimentation, and reflection. The game feels less like a traditional narrative journey and more like wandering through a series of interconnected ideas, each space acting as a vessel for memory, symbolism, and quiet philosophical inquiry. The experience unfolds through first-person exploration of a variety of evocative locations that range from intimate interior spaces to abstract and otherworldly environments. These areas are linked together in ways that often feel dreamlike rather than logical, reinforcing the sense that the player is moving through layers of memory rather than physical geography. Houses, laboratories, forests, temples, and cosmic settings coexist without clear boundaries, and this lack of conventional structure becomes one of the game’s defining strengths. Rat…

A good puzzle game, like all the games in the ISOLAND series. The puzzles can be tricky!

没有前几部好玩了,而且第二遍的时候也没感觉有多少差异,给我一种我只是为了全成就才走第二遍的感觉
