About Jet Ant
Jet Ant mixes a classic platforming with a simulation of a 2D jet/rocket hovering to move around and achieve a goal of reaching level's end with a maximum points collected. Points are calculated by adding the remaining fuel and collected coins.
Develop your own tactics. Should you not deviate from your path to save fuel? Or are you skilled enough to gather more coins by investing extra fuel and return with a profit? Be careful on your journey, because Jet Ant's flying machine is homemade, it leaks slightly and can explode if hit it too hard.
You can customize your flying machine and experiment with your game style.
Game Features:
Unique and skill demanding movement mechanism.
Steam achievements.
Challenging levels.
Cartoon style graphics.

I haven't played this game for long but I love it already! It's a fun challenge to try and figure out how to fly and optimize your little ship. I want to be the best flying ant out there!5 found this helpful
Jet Ant is a ripoff of Lunar Lander (copyright Atari, 1979). The game features low poly art and a "micro" theme as apparently someone put an ant in a lunar lander thing and the ant is not only okay with this but wants to go flying over numerous milk cartons that have been left on the bench. PUT THE BLOODY MILK BACK IN THE FRIDGE WHEN YOU FINISH USING IT. I digress. Gameplay is basically the same as Lunar Lander, you have a fuel guage, no fuel, no more thrust, and you can just propel yourself with the lander engines and steer left or right a bit. Physics is not your friend here. We all know this game, it's 44 years old. While you get 4K support, there's little in the way of graphics tweaks and little in the way of graphics to improve anyway. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the ge…3 found this helpful

Still haven't made it to level 2 wtf is this game2 found this helpful
The bravery this ant shows to not only leave the colony, but to pack up his things, build his own ship and fully comitting to the future that he sees for himself. It had me emotional from start to finish. $1.95 to watch an ant with a heart of gold put himself first.1 found this helpful
