This feel like a hidden gem you would have played on Newgrounds back in the early mid 2000s The writing is kinda crude, some characters swear a LOT.... but then like... there are some weirdly nice touching moments where there is a lot of heart given to the characters! The gameplay is quite fun in a semi mindless way.... but that's probably because I made a build that just started eliminating the random normal mooks extremely fast... even on hard! (Briar as a dodge Tank is REALLY fun) Overall I had a pretty fun time with the game! though It's not anything AMAZING It's still a fun 10 hour romp of baddie slaying with very quirky characters!4 found this helpful
The dev seems to be easily angered. I was curious about this game a long time ago and while not perfect this here was not to bad beside the issues I noticed and planned on waiting until they were fixed. Still after a simple talk about the price after encountering the game again today and asking about an issue being fixed or not, another user mentioned themself something similar to what I remembered. After that I was banned from the third games discussin forum. (which seems to have been revoked) So I assume the dev is at their wits end and quick to anger, calling me cheap and everything. I won't buy a rotten apple just because it's cheap. Since I haven't kept the game but played enough to review it and I assume others could have the same personal issue i mention it here after being banned, not sure if they would allow other people asking something similar. I would give this a mixed or positiv review but now this is paired with the bad behaviot the dev seems to have if you, i don't know question them? I still need to figure out what was offensive with my question.2 found this helpful

Nope
Felt like I was playing an old web comic. In a very good way. Plenty of build options thanks to the rune system
