5/10 seems like an amazing idea. gameplay wise its move around in a tiny square well you press A every X amount of time until you kill enough things to unlock an upgrade. gameplay never evolves past that. my problem with this is the tempo never changes on each level so i just feel like some sort of endless auto clicker well throwing in some dodges instead of Attacks from time to time. i do can some levels with my eyes closed and not moving. gave it a try and using the heal girl was able to do 5 waves without taking much damage well never looking at the screen and playing on the hardest setting tier 3 you can unlock double beat that lets you press A a 2nd time in between your 1st A press and 2nd upcoming A press. soo just pressing A twice as much now + art + music + 10$ - very few upgrades to choose from - got the ability to heal well not moving and never moved for the rest of my run until the boss level - too much ♥♥♥♥ on the screen. decrease the size of enemies, damage numbers and pickups things well leaving the same hitboxes. remove the giant white eye when you kill stuff or make it so it only appears when you kill special things - insane upgrade costs ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!! 1000 fragment…7 found this helpful
I am new to this game but as a fan of everything rock, metalcore, and midwestern emo, this is so damn good! A must play for even full price!2 found this helpful
I feel like the more i play the game I less enjoy it. Levels keeps getting longer, gameplay is so repetable that after 3 or 4 songs it's just clicking space and mouse. I don't have to dodge because i kill every enemy instantly. During rounds I have full squad always on "solo" buff and full screen is covered in colours, numbers and effects so it's pointless to even move. On the other hand artstyle is very unique and nice looking. I like it very much. Music is cool but i feel that it fades when everyone clicks for their "solo". Also that stupid snare and plate everytime i click space gets so annoying. It's sad because game has potential and i want to complete it all, but for now I've had my fun. I'll finish it after some updates or if I'll get eaten by boredome.1 found this helpful

For what the game has to offer, I had a good time overall. I liked the gameplay and that every character had a different play style to make each round unique. The story was alright, the art in the cutscenes definitely helped to keep me engaged. The only thing that I wish was that there was more variety of music. What the game has is nice and rocking, but if each of the difficulties had a unique boss soundtrack, I would be more inclined to play certain levels on repeat and look forward to new difficulties. Overall, I was satisfied. Overall, for the size of the team, great game!
I haven't gotten super far yet and will update when I do if anything changes, but I gotta just throw it out there that this game oozes so much style that I personally am in love with! I do wish there was more to do with the rhythm than keeping a tempo, but as it is it still feels more satisfying to keep this beat than similar games with more involved inputs. I have to lend that to the music hitting just right. So far the "boring" roguelite upgrades (+% bonuses and such) seem to be relegated to the rewards for selecting a higher difficulty, while there's always something neat going on with the actual stage completion rewards. I did two quick runs and won both without too much issue I think, so there may be an issue of difficulty balancing in the end, will update. I personally pulled this from the rhythm game humble bundle, but I would be happy to get this for the current sale price of $5 for a stylish take on something akin to a more involved vampire survivors. I do have a feeling it might end up being a bit short, but again I will update if that is the case.
