I am a big fan of side scrollers and rougelikes. This one just misses on all fronts. the gameplay feels clunky and there isn't enough to keep interest past the controls. If this was meant to be an advertisement for a full game, I think it is working against the devs. Given the experience in this prologue, I will 100% avoid games in this series.2 found this helpful
pretty fun
nice little hack and slash. A little reminiscent of a souls like game but no quite there. battle mechanics are fun and challenging, just wish the enemies moved a bit more. Spirit powers are pretty lame so I never really used them. The lightning orb is awful too. I feel there needs to be a checkpoint after each boss as I found myself going straight back to the very start of the game each time I died which got tiresome after awhile. But other than that it was a fun experience. I couldnt find any bugs but I only played for 2hrs and only got to the 2nd boss. So unsure about any further stages.
Truly an amazing game with clearly hours of work and great combat. I would recommend it to anyone
Good overall impression for a free prologue and it does have a lot of potential if the developers kept refining the experience!
Love the game. I'm terrible at it but it has a great loop and I want to get better. Love the roguelike feel
