About Lazy Galaxy

Lazy Galaxy is a mix between RTS and idle/clicker game. Lead an evil (albeit lazy) alien race to conquer the universe! Traverse the universe, fight vicious enemies, expand your influence through the galaxies. Acquire combat experience and convert into candy, the most precious alien resource!

Key Features:

 • Build your base in idle mode, participate in battles in RTS mode
 • Achievements matter! Unlocking in-game achievements adds permanent researches that improve the gameplay
 • Allow your ships to fight by themselves or control them directly
 • Item system: find the items in battles, craft the new ones on your base
 • Micro-control is rewarded, but not necessary. You can idle out the battles or seek more active participation.
 • Mod Support: players can add their own ships and items!
 • More than a 100 in-game researches and achievements
 • Multiple development paths will add variety to incremental/base-building gameplay
Lazy Galaxy

Time Played:
12.2 Hours
Last Played:
15th of January, 2026

With no Terraria 1.4.5 Release date announced yet, and me still deep into Garden Galaxy's last achievements, I thought humour would be had in playing 2 idle-adjacent games with “Galaxy” in their name. Of note is that this was the 11th game played while waiting for the update, I was simply able to try Miniland Adventure in-between this, and the 13th volume of that period.
Yay:
+ Upgrades are unlocked via in-game achievements, adding a nice bit of progression. + Surrealist absurdity story featuring a race of Octopus-like creatures conquering the stars, but lacking motivation to do so. + Progress seems to come quickly. + Ever-satisfying to me “number goes up” incremental gameplay. + The space battle parts reminded me of Blasteroids, which I've played at a retro arcade. + The health capsules reminded me of Bosconian, which I played on one of those cheapo “Plug 'n' Play consoles in the early '00s. + Like Leaf Blower Revolution, the Stean achievements are very easy, and time-respecting. + Unlimited Battles Mode
Meh:[/…

Not going to lie I got this game for like $1.24 or something like that on sale and it was an enjoyable experience. I played 15 hours of almost all active play time and I got enough out of it for what I wanted. It isn't anything that will blow your socks off but it is really nice for what it is and I had a great time as a second monitor game. It is worth it for that price to have a new experience in a genre that hasn't done a whole lot in the recent years. This is an oldie so if you are someone whose been around the idle/incremental scene and haven't gotten to this one yet, might be worth it just to say "hey I did it". It is a prestige heavy game which is why I decided maybe I'll shelf it instead of continue on but I did do my fair share of resets to gain more permanent progression. There are still a ton of achieves I haven't gotten to of course and there is still new stuff I have yet to see.

i truly hope this becomes a saga of dozens! as the first release of this saga i am pleasantly surprised of the mechanical depth and care taken into the making into this game, its quirky, its fun, its addictive and can be broken if you have enough neuron upgrades in your own brain. my only complain is that even tough the mods are easy to make through a simple XML code, people have paid zero attention to one of the simplest modding scenes ever created, which honestly... surprises and saddens me. for a first release i give it a solid 8.3/10, im downloading the 2nd release as i write these words and im in love with the saga already.
