Legion 51's core gameplay concept requires to you send waves of people to their death in order to breach the base in area 51. As silly/dumb/illogical that may sound, there is some level of strategy and fun in the process of reaching area 51. The biggest turn off for me was when you recruit new fans, they just spawn mindlessly into your existing team. They just fill up any empty tile within the team where you have spend time to set the up the formation. ♥♥♥♥. That's a poor choice of design. Probably limitation of idea/programming/game engine or all together. sigh. Some achievements are still broken till today. 2021. sigh. All in all, its a relatively short game with very little purpose/value. The formation/class concept is really interesting however the idea of sending people to their death, is not. so it's an akward experience. Do I want to play legion 51 version 2 or anything similar to it? No however i recognize the effort and the idea it strive to achieve as your first product.

Great idea but it is a way too short game in order to leave any other impression. If you wish to repeat the process just for achievements it could be funny but still I have feeling like adding some more levels with more interesting story line could be appreciated. Not suggest unless on discount.

It delivers exactly what it is supposed to be. Rogue like, recruit people, rush the base get stronger, finish the game. Could be more detailed or longer but its good.

This is how you handle a light hearted, short, fun game! The game keeps a simple premise that may be familiar. Organize your fans and send them charging towards Area 51. Based on their performance, you'll attract even more fans for your next run. Send them out en masse, or assign them "jobs" for a bit of strategy. Fans that have "jobs" get abilities that will help you out, and you can decide if you want to group them together for defensive reasons or spread them apart so they don't take AoE damage. It's all very simple and straight forward...which is what makes the game so enjoyable! You don't need to have quick reflexes or a deep understanding of strategy to enjoy this game. Although it only lasts about 30 minutes, you can always replay it again to see if you can get to the end quicker or with less fatalities.
