Nice little story and pacing, I was so invested omg I also love the art style and atmosphere, it made me wanna make a drawing

A nice, however short and plain, story. The game delivers well a melancholic atmosphere thanks to music (which also makes it a pity that the music is not available outside of the game, unless one bothers enough).

Considering this is a free game, I understant it being short. I would've appreciated, though, that the reveal wasn't as obvious to let us feel the emotional weight of the story, which is the focus of the game since it doesn't introduce new mechanics beside walking and finding stuff required to advance. Character art has some weird proportions, but it's still a free game.

the controls are solid, the worldspace feels well written. the 16 bit graphics hit me right in the nostalgia. i think it perfectly nails the idea of using a game engine's exploration parts to tell a story, rather than charge though fight after fight. while it doesn't bring anything advanced to the table behind its engine, the story shows through fairly well as the focus. certaintly runnable on lower spec hardware. even touchscreen compatible

What a beautiful experience. The art looks so nostalgic for some reason, and paired with the music the whole game feels very somber and chilling. It's like standing in a sacred place. I had to let the Necromancer take a few moments to himself while out in the forest because I feel like we both needed it.
