Structurally similar to other games of this developer. I like this formula so its a no brainer recommendation.
I really tried to force myself to make it to the end and really wanted to give it a good review, but I couldn't. The game is quite boring. The progression doesn't feel rewarding. The party system is quite janky and unenjoyable to interact with. Some skills like weakness exploit and crit damage just feel like filler skills that you don't really see the impact of. The prestige (return to earth) system is incredibly underwhelming as all it does is reset your upgrades and give you a currency to use on generic buffs. There is really no depth to the game. All the unlockable menus/mechanics are just reskinned version of one another. They all give the exact same stat boosts, just under a different menu. The more I write on this review the more frustrated I am getting with the complete lack of depth in the game. It is quite literally the same thing over and over and over, and the gameplay loop gets old very fast. I like to support indie devs, which is why I bought the game to begin with, but this one feels really low effort.
Surprising depth to this addictive space idler!
Great little idle game, no IAP is always a plus
Scratches a similar itch to Unnamed Space Idle, I actually much prefer this game so far because it respects the idle "keep playing and it'll get easier" NGU (although there is also an intriguing NGD mechanic as well) instead of hitting brick walls in USI. There's lots to dig into, especially with resource types, and I've visited 6 sectors, my runs tend to be long instead of quick returns and upgrades. I fully recommend this game, especially if you want a more focused experience than Unnamed Space Idle, the rest of this post will be feedback because I bought the game early on. 1. The menu system organization needs another pass, it's difficult to find where things are and the grouping as they are now could be better, Ship, Party, Space, and Special all sort of have a jumble of things, then inventory and equipment are also their own menus. The inventory crafting interface + inventory management + merge feels like it could be laid out better, right now you start at inventory, then click item category, then click enhance, then click merge, then click another item, (accept), then you close out which puts you back at the start, then you have to go back to Inventory and start over agai…
I have been enjoying the game. Lots of options and ways to progress in the game. Dev is responsive on the forums. I like the time fast forward feature to quickly move through the levels with saved up time. Note: I got the game for free from a key giveaway on Reddit, but for the price, I think it is worth it.
