Man in a suit in a building in a city

There's an old myth that if you're a man who doesn't wear a suit, you're no man (or something like that). A short story that injects criticism of the patriarchy, presumed masculinity, capitalism and workaholism. I'm sure many people will enjoy this.

BIG OL' TRUCKLOAD OF SALT WITH WHICH TO TAKE THIS: This game is dark as hell. During the first cycle, I was all, "oh dang, urban monotony is the real horror, i see you game" but then the next day started and ♥♥♥♥ got weird FAST. Like holy hell, turns out? Urban monotony is NOT the real horror, just one of the many heads that sit upon the beast that is our damn character. Just. Damn.

What a grim world i have had the brief displeasure of joining the man in the suit in. very much like our own, bateman-esque but low class, delivered in lazy english, it does not even care to articulate itself. a life where the mundane sucks. a man in a suit who does not care about anybody. a reflection on the things some people like to talk about sometimes. fluorescent lights and fantasies of violence, nothing really changes. alcohol and meaningless bad sex,, nothing matters here, novelty is fleeting and unimportant.. you should probably read this visual novel

Well, if you've made it past the title you basically know what this story is about? That's not to say it doesn't say anything. It touches upon the pressures of a work-oriented society, which stems from the pressures of the patriarchy. The protagonist is a lonely man among a sea of lonely people – no one is having a good time here. And neither am I. This visual novel is full of typos and poor grammar which doesn't seem to be intentional and it almost made me give up after the first few lines. [strike]Also a BIG SPOILER!!: there's *a lot* of misogyny in the story which I don't attribute to author's beliefs, of course, and which IS realistic and somewhat relevant to the issues mentioned above... BUT! we as the protagonist have a choice to kill one character on-screen (and it's a necessary choice for the second achievement). Was it necessary for that woman to be revealed to be pregnant? Apart from shock value?[/strike]

Its a novel that is visual... I don't know man, I didn't even read it. I'm just a shameless achievement wh0re.
