That might be because the game launched with almost no reception and no reviews — so I’m leaving one in hopes it helps future players understand what they’re getting into. The art is beautiful. I love the main artwork, the character designs, and even the enemy style. The map is also lovely; nicely drawn, with a cute chibi aesthetic that fits the tone of the game really well. Visually, this is easily the strongest part of the experience. Unfortunately, the game itself is very unpolished. Even something as simple as spelling “normal” correctly in the menu would help, but the issues run deeper. The UI is clunky: HP and XP values are displayed backwards (e.g., 11/7 instead of 7/11), and skills have no descriptions at all. You don’t know how much damage they do, how to use them, or even where they aim. Some abilities fire only in the direction your character is facing (based on your click), while others can be aimed freely — but the game never tells you which is which. There’…
