Millennium 4 – Beyond Sunset, developed and published by Aldorlea Games, continues the long-running Millennium saga with a clear sense of purpose, positioning itself as a crucial lead-in to the series’ finale. Unlike earlier entries that leaned more into exploration and gradual progression, this installment feels more focused and urgent, centering on Marine’s mission to gather the final allies needed before an inevitable confrontation. That shift in tone gives the game a slightly different identity, one that emphasizes momentum and narrative direction over the slower, more open-ended pacing that defined much of the series before it. The gameplay remains rooted in traditional RPG Maker design, offering a straightforward loop of exploration, dialogue, and turn-based combat. Vibrant graphics and atmospheric levels make you feel like traveling during sunset. smooth controls and a captivating story. perfect for adventure lovers looking for a beautiful journey highly recommended.
This episode is by far one of the most difficult to master. By the end, all characters will have been recruited. There is a lot of jumping in this story part, especially through the Grand Rift. There are still hidden rooms, but most of the game is focused on recruiting the Bear. The story mainly revolves around that particular part. Dissent starts to show amongst the recruits, and it takes a lot of talking and self-confidence to get the party going again. The game seems rather slow story-wise during this episode, but it is still a good game to play.
