This game is frankly unplayable without a gamepad. Any attempt to change the controls wont save if you overwrite the default controls. Cannot use mouse, even for combat. Cannot use WASD movement only arrow keys, in 2020. If you play on a numpad or arrowkeys have fun but apparently they dont want WASD users to play their game.16 found this helpful
Probably made in RPG maker modded for an ARPG. It's a good accomplishment, but the Action parts are not smooth. Not going to recommend this to others. I put in my refund request. Kudos to the team, I hope their next game is on a smoother engine.5 found this helpful
An exercise in frustration. Game is unplayable without using some sort of controller, as the keyboard restriction is terrible. YOU CANNOT USE THE MOUSE IN THIS GAME. Really wanted to like this one, but it's just too cumbersome and frustrating to tolerate pushing through to see if it gets any better.4 found this helpful
If the year was 1983, and this was a nintendo game, it would be good.3 found this helpful
I helped test the game during beta and beaten it multiple times. If you like pirates and 2d graphics then you'll find something to enjoy for sure. Overall a solid and complete game with some minor issues but no game breaking bugs or crashes. Don't go into this expecting an FF RPG where you go from point a to b with constant cutscenes. The games about making a plan and executing it while getting a chance to run around and explore a pirate themed world. Heres how my curent playthrough is going. My crew mutines on me I get dropped on an island I spend the first day running around collecting supplies Night came and I died because Davy jones's undead appeared. I should have camped. Wake up the second day and collect what I need in half the time but then met a rum merchant who offered to take me to a local port. Arrived at port and started a fight in the bar. Ran out of bar and joined a crew. Sailed with a crew untill I made enough money to buy a ship. Made enough gold to buy a ship, ship gets boarded and kraken attacks both ships and I die. I spawn on the crew ship and attack my crew members in anger and learn that I can take it for myself. I now have my own ship. I bought cannonball…3 found this helpful
I received a copy of this game to Let's Play it and I loved it quite a bit. This is a really fun open-world game with a lot of stuff to explore and experiment around with!1 found this helpful
