About Nephise: Ascension
“Nephise was a young orb collector. One day, while searching for orbs, she got lost and fell down a hole into Dragons Valley. The only exit was via the High Grounds, but there was no easy way up there. She came upon a vast lake. She unmoored a boat near to the shore, and sailed it to the other side…”

Walking Simulator. Guaranteed Tonguc Quality. It's 8y old, done with UR4, so it is a bit oldish by graphic. + Nice Scenary. + Nice Story If you are WalkSim fan, this is well worth to check! Maybe not with full 5$/€ price, but with some discount!? Achievements, 100% / ~2h. + Some idling for trading cards...3 found this helpful
This 'game' is one part tech demo and one part slop. I don't think it's worth anyone's time (except if you want some easy achievements).1 found this helpful
Another journey unfolds in the world of Nephise. In this third installment, our heroine is once again tasked with gathering orbs and precisely placing statues. Along the way, she navigates through all four seasons, encounters a massive creature, and even meets some blind skeletons. At its core, this atmospheric walking simulator combines engaging puzzles with platforming challenges, with your progress saved at the start of each chapter. I truly enjoyed this serene romp through a magical landscape.1 found this helpful
Clever games curator review: 6/10. A walking SIM that aspires to be slightly more, with a tiny bit of platforming, puzzling, and wandering monster avoidance mixed in. Although rather middling, it is a decent distraction from larger games and doesn’t have any fatal flaws. As a walking SIM this is fine. Although not all the graphics are great, most of the time they are pleasant and although individual levels are often fairly self similar, there is decent variety between levels. One thing that I particularly appreciate is that rather than just a linear path, each level is a bit of a maze. Often your task is to find a set of 10 glowing orbs. Eg this is a collectathon. Although it is rare, there are occasional platforming sections. These involve moving platforms and thus are somewhat timing sensitive. Anyone who plays platformers should find them fairly trivial, but folks who look for 0-reflex challenges in their walking simulators might find them a bit tricky. Personally, I thought it was a nice little bit of variety. The puzzles, if you can call them that, are really quite trivial and mostly hinge on finding things that…
I thought that Nephise was some cutesy little red riding hood. I never knew she was so damn hot!
Nephise set out to gather orbs to cure her sisters illness, but at the end offered them to a dragon in exchange for a ride home just so she could boast to her ill sister that she rode a dragon. What a prick.
