NightMare King

It's an abandoned Brotato-like which lacks an infinite mode, enemies don't scale with your power making it difficult at first and then super easy midway through until the end. Everything else about the game is enjoyable for the most part, but the fact that there's been no updates or balancing since release means it's a pretty incomplete game. I'm honestly not sure why they didn't see this one through until the end, but it's disappointing nonetheless.

The devs abandoned the game shortly after release, they lied about "New content releases" That should have addeds lots of new classes/Items and an arena to test things so dont buy anything from them.

+Excellent BGM, best combat music for a survivor game +Smooth combat, quick short burst in 20 rounds per match +lots of characters and item choices -As you unlock more maps, more weapons also get unlocked. So it gets difficult to locate the weapon of choice +++Dev listens to feedback and is active on Steam forum. E.g. implemented item ban to fix above situations. -No Discord server to communicate with Dev, have to rely on Steam forum Overall I would recommend this. It's a bit of a diamond in the rough in its current form, but forgivable considering this is the dev's first game. They are only a team of 2 people (husband and wife), but they are actively listening to player feedback and making enhancements fairly quickly. The game has a solid foundation, so this should shape up to be a good game as we get more polish and fixes.

I don't know, bro. It's a shallow little Brotato-like game without upgrades. Easy mode is pretty peaceful and doesn't offer much challenge. On normal difficulty, you mostly end up hoping for better weapon drops. Without upgrades, I seriously don't see myself playing it for more than an hour, to be honest.

Unfinished and bland brotato clone with untranslated characters in item text, raw formulas not rendering into a calculated value, and nothing particularly interesting aside from a second layer of fundamental character stats which are used to calculate buffs to two derived stats. The dev has been inactive for several months after weekly or even daily patch activity last winter. I almost didn't want to give it a negative and instead leave it blank, but I find my feelings towards it are growing more negative the more I think about the hour I spent with it.

I'm enjoying the hell out of this fun survivors-like. Lots of unique characters, items and weapons. And a speed up toggle, which I never knew I wanted, but is an incredible addition to games like this.
