About Ninja VS Zombies
A 2D ninja action game in the Metroidvania style of exploration.
The game is influenced by games from the 8bit/16bit era, with a focus on the Metroid and Castlevania series.

The enemies that attack you will become more and more powerful, but you will be able to defeat them, raise your level, and equip yourself with enhanced items, weapons, and armor to face them!
Even if your HP becomes zero and the game is over, you can resume from the last save point with the experience and gold you have gained.
There are various challenge elements such as the "Hard Mode" with high difficulty, 100% item recovery, 100% MAP exploration, etc.

What you see is what you get. My only real complaint is the buttons set for controller are ridiculous and you cannot rebind them.1 found this helpful
This is not a bad game, but it has a lot of flaws and I don't recommend it at it's current price. I actually enjoyed it as a nice retro throwback to old school Genesis games. I think $5 would have been a much more realistic price point. edit: it looks like the price was adjusted so I'm changing my review to recommended. I think this is a decent game for $5. [b]My stats:[/b] 3.5 hours to finish on medium difficulty (there is also easy and hard) 75% item collection 98% map completion [b]Positives[/b] [list] [*]The music is probably the best part of this game. Lots of bangers. [*]Map works great. [*]Weapons have somewhat unique characteristics. [*]Camera feels really smooth and I liked it better than most games in this genre with the exception that sometimes you need to fall down and the camera can't be moved downwards to see where you land. [*]Fairly smooth difficulty curve. You can grind level-ups if needed. You have plenty of money to buy health items. [*]Lots of interesting ideas, such as if you die, you get sent back to the title screen but the game shows discovered map areas between your last save and your death in a grey highlight so you know where you went.
