About Nunholy
✦ AI summary
Battle through randomized dungeons as a vampire-hunting nun, absorbing your slaughtered prey's dark powers to grow stronger or hawking them for gear upgrades. Face an ever-escalating hierarchy of undead aristocrats while bartering with morally questionable dungeon merchants to prepare for the ultimate S-rank hunt.
Nunholy is an action-packed roguelike game where you explore dungeons and hunt down vampires as battle-hardened nuns.
Each time you slay a vampire, you can absorb their power to grow stronger or sell it to upgrade your gear. Will you embrace the vampires’ dark power, or rely solely on human strength? The choice is yours.
Vampires come in many forms and ranks—Knights, Barons, Counts, and Dukes—each stronger than the last. Hunt down the most powerful of them all and prove yourself as an S-rank hunter.
Within the dungeons, you'll encounter merchants, witches, prisoners, and undertakers—people who care little about who you are, as long as you can pay. Meet them, trade with them, and prepare for the hunt.

It's literally just a half-finished, abandoned, overt copy of Hades with a few illustrations of big ol boobies in it. It's largely creatively bankrupt, unbalanced, brings little new to the table, is both easy and short, and is riddled with poor game design decisions that would be obviously DISASTROUS for any sort of endgame or long-term repetition. BUT The game isn't that long, so most of the problems with the gameplay loop that would normally inevitably appear just... don't get enough time to. The gameplay is a rip of Hades (I cannot in good conscience call it "inspired by") - but because it deviates so little, you're left with a foundation of 90% Hades, and Hades is... universally praised. The game is VERY cheap (and often on sale to boot), so the value proposition is... pretty strong, honestly. The game isn't balanced very well - but that makes runs astonishingly consistent and your choices easy, so the game becomes kinda meditative while your choices feel impactful. The game is definitely unfinished and abandoned, but the stakes are generally so low that the missing content / issues come across as quirky or funny moreso than frustrating. So practically what you're left with…3 found this helpful

Good mix of buildcrafting and fast-paced combat. Progression feels really satisfying till now. The music fits the vibe perfectly.
you play this game for the sexy hot maid women. i play it because i enjoy roguelikes. we are not the same.
I love nuns and I love vampires, and when they're both in one game, it's even better. It's a roguelike game similar to Hades. I recommend it if you like nuns and vampires.
A great game — it kept me hooked for several hours. At first, I thought it would be similar to Diablo or Path of Exile, but it turned out to be quite different, which was a pleasant surprise. The inventory system is also interesting. Essentially, you collect different effects in order to progress further. One downside, however, is that after a few hours, having to repeat the same floors several times starts to become tiring. Of course, if the game was originally intended to be a small indie project, that is understandable, but I still think this aspect could be improved. The artifacts work in an interesting way as well. As far as I understand, they were originally supposed to be divided into different color-based rarity tiers, since the artifact’s name appeared in purple when it was upgraded. The bosses, to be honest, sometimes have very repetitive attack patterns — even the Queen. As for the skill system, unfortunately, by the end of the game, around half of the skills remain unused. In reality, you simply do not need that many skills to complete the game, so this system could use some further development. Overall, though, the developers did a very good job, and I really enjoy…
