I have never finished this game. It is the scariest VR experience I have played. I highly recommend it for it's excellent atmosphere, visuals and concepts. One day perhaps I will have the courage to finish but I kinda like keeping it at this unresolved forbidden level.2 found this helpful
Creepy and a learn as you go kind of horror game. You are in a set position and get moved around to different positions. You get random tools to interact in some ways with the witch. I'd say it's a good party game and for introducing people to VR and/or VRhorror. I'm not sure if I'd agree with a $10 tag. But I would say grab it on a sale because it's offered me and my friends some fun spooks.2 found this helpful

Obscura is an "experience" very much like watching paint dry. It's a fairly boring, repetitive "horror" game, with very little to do, and heavily repeated environments/situations. Stand in one spot, wave some tools around while looking out for a witch, find witch, jumpscare, lather rinse repeat. I played this for 45 minutes, which is longer than I should have. The game is very nice to look at, but the variety is minimal, and the story telling is confusing. In between segments of standing, you stand in another area and receive pieces of paper that have bits of story/pictures on them. You look at a couple, and then you're whisked away to the next area. Forever...and ever...It's very inexpensive, which is good, because it's probably not worth any more than the asking price.
You kinda just stand there for 20 minutes, with not really anything going on. it's got decent graphics, directional audio, but more story content or a little narration would be nice. Get DreadHalls instead. More fun and wayyy scarier IMHO.
