September 10, 2048

The world you once knew is gone, and so is your memory. An unfamiliar voice urges you to defeat A.D.E., the AI behind the long lasting 20-year war that has driven humanity into hiding beneath the Earth. The surface is now ruled by hostile machines, new lifeforms fighting for their survival. Just like everyone else.

To defeat A.D.E., you must wield your powers. Abilities that grant access to a new plane of reality: Worlds within technology, within a world shattered by it.
Journey through a dystopian tale where nothing is as it seems, and the line between friend and foe has never been so thin. Battle through a ravaged world to save what remains of humanity’s future.

Sadly I can't actually play the game because my controllers are flipped at weird angles. This hasn't happened on any other games. Also I can't refund because I passed the 2 week window, so a negative review it is.

The game starts a bit slow, but gets better and better.

A very underrated game. At first I was a little skeptical and not that pulled in, but as I progressed and unlocked upgrades for weapons and new areas, it became more enjoyable. The environment I believe is very cool with sci-fi/post apocalyptic theme to it. There aren't too many enemies and it can get a bit tedious but its still fun enough with them having weak spots and looking cool. There's also a separate world that is a platformer with more enemies that acts as a nice break from the real world. This is also a type a game where theres a lot of upgrades which require you to look closely (behind things, above, in, out, you name). I enjoy this as its cool to explore the area, take in the environment and have a desire to upgrade your loadouts. Again, not a long game (I beat sub 9 hours), so get it on sale. But for a small publisher, this is worth a play. 8/10

I think if this game released at the lower sales price you’d see more positivity. I get it. In parts the game is still rough with bugs, visuals can be inconsistent, overall quality is definitely AA, and how you price a game is highly subjective. I’d also say it’s disappointing to have to view games thru this lens in general, but it is what it is. I bought this at the sales price and I think it is definitely worth it as a more than solid single player experience. The world that was built is intriguing and visually interesting to me. I see the data worlds get a lot of hate, I actually enjoy them a lot, I think if there was a quick start after a fail there would be little frustration for people. I get that it’s easy to call a game like this, “We got HL:A at home,” but it’s more than just a clone and I’d recommend it pretty highly. I’d love if the developers could get another crack at this game a sequel etc with a higher budget cause I think they’d make something special.

Do yourself a favour and get this game. Very interesting one, I think I'm halfway through, I recommend this. I'm starting to feel it a bit repetitive tho, strange to say but i think i would have liked this more if it was a bit shorter, but still, interactions are great, i love the fact that i can also climb around, it's very well done, particles effects are superb and the weapons themselves are very well done and the data worlds level helps making it less "repetitive" in terms of locations and they are very fun. Huge pro: They added bHaptics support and it's one of the best support to date, even the start menu has effect, very well done, I've been waiting for support to start playing and I'm happy i did so, experiencing the game for the first time with bhaptics as well made it even better.

I started playing this game from the demo while it was still in early access and purchased it in early access it is an interesting game with an interesting storyline that plays on current fears about advancing AI. The gameplay is engaging and the graphics and sound are good if not the best i have experienced and are probably above average for a relatively small indie developer i especially like the data worlds which bring to mind the cyberspace portions of the old game System Shock. The mechanics are pretty good although i seem to have a problem with the grip mechanic my hands sometimes seem to lose grip even while holding he grip buttons when trying to move things like barrels also i play seated and i seem to have trouble maintaining a stable in game height and adjusting it doesn't seem to work unless i exit to the start menu adjust it then continue game overall i think it is an interesting game well worth the investment although it did seem like it worked better before it came out of early access.
