One of the most enjoyable VR games that I have played. The humor is pretty enjoyable, and while the gameplay is mostly just pressing one of the two buttons and reading/listening it is very much a game that I intend to play again. And it's free! So if you have a VR headset I fully recommend checking it out.

"On The Earth Shift :)" is another pointless VR tech demo on Steam... this one is a trite "management" tech demo where you wave your arms (tentacles) around in VR to control aspects of the planet Earth to manage it for various alien influencers. It's largely made as a joke game and only attracted joke reviews on Steam Direct, where it failed badly for obvious reasons... chief of which would just be poor quality, amateurish technical delivery. Visually, the game looks pretty bad (and decent visuals are a must, gaming is a visual medium), we can be sure this is not an asset flip. This is because the game assets look so bad, no self respecting asset creator would publish them. That's a fail. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets of any level of quality usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool.
