"Dragon Rising" may be a bit more simplified than the original OPF (2001), but it has its own unique atmosphere that makes me come back to it from time to time. I would be glad if a remaster was released, with improved HD-textures, LODs and etc. д.

Flawed, but fun, tactical fps. Not quite Call of Duty or Battlefield , but also not ARMA. Slots in as a nice middle ground and intro into the more realistic shooters. Its an enjoyable game, I have well over 500 hours in the XBox 360 version; and roughly another hundred on Steam. Added map editor is quite easy to use.

I understand making things slower paced for the sake of "realism", but just making a game feel like ♥♥♥♥ to play isn't realistic. The movement and driving feel terrible. The graphics are really bland and indicative of the era it was made in (in not a good way). The AI is terrible, and it feels like your team is a collection of braindead robots rather than squad mates. The guns can feel decent sometimes, but not always. Really the most enjoyable experience I had with this game was watching enemy ragdolls go flying up into the stratosphere when I killed them. Very realistic.
