While the rest of the gaming world was busy jerking off to glossy shaders and photorealistic explosions going "boom" like a Transformers trailer, Dragon Rising grabs you by the collar, spits in your face and screams: "This is war. And it sucks." Forget the Call of Duty games where you're a rockstar in kevlar, where every bullet has your name on it and every checkpoint is a warm hug. Here, a single shot kills you. And not in style. No slow-motion death drop, no epic last words. You just… die. The end. Try again. Maybe this time don't go sprinting upright across an open field, genius.
