Tough as nails vertically scrolling run and gun. While the challenge is high, the game remains fun and engaging thanks to the fast paced and colorful visuals. This port is surprisingly well made. It offers TATE support as well as various visual filters. I was particularly happy with the excellent CRT option, but PIXEL and STEP are also available. I can definitely recommend fans of old school shooters check this one out. One of Toaplan's best!1 found this helpful
This is perhaps not just one of Toaplan's greatest games but also one of the best I've played in general. Everything is fantastic from the level design, the music and the gameplay. I'm still unsure if this port is 100% accurate to the original after all of those updates but I'd say this is still absolutely worth getting if you want one of the best run and guns out there.1 found this helpful
