Outer Storms

Outer Storms is a 3D survival and exploration game with a top-down view in which you play as a Kerrien. After a long space journey, your capsule crashes on an unknown planet where you must survive. You will need to gather resources and accumulate energy to upgrade your equipment and defend against the alien infection spreading across the universe.

Terraforming

• Dynamic terraforming: The terrain reacts to energy and changes in real time around you.
• Strategic terrain modifications: Transforming the ground generates plants that improve survival conditions and create safer zones.
• Weakening of the infection: Terraforming helps push back the infection and makes certain areas safer for exploration.

Resource Management

• Mining: Collect minerals to produce Kyrrite, a vital material for upgrading your capsule and exploration abilities.
• Capsule upgrade: Use Kyrrite to upgrade your capsule into a highly sophisticated turret to reinforce your defense.
• Resource management: Be mobile, as resources deplete and are necessary to maintain your equipment.

Mutations

• Alien DNA exploitation: Collect DNA and create temporary but powerful mutations.
• Infection: Learn to control the minds of aliens to make the most of difficult situations.

Survival, Exploration, and Colonization

• Survival: Protect yourself from aliens attracted by your energy and adapt to the planet's extreme weather conditions.
