About Packed Lair

Heroes. Always barging in. Always swinging swords. Always acting like you’re the problem. In Packed Lair, you play as an evil lord trying to defend your very valuable underground real estate from an endless parade of so-called heroes. Draft buildings, rotate them into place, and squeeze every last bit of evil efficiency out of your cramped lair to create a monster army capable of keeping those meddling do-gooders out for good.Part Inventory Management, part Base Builder, part Roguelike Auto-Battler, Packed Lair is about squeezing maximum villainy out of limited floor space.Your lair may be small, but your ambitions are not.Every building you place can create minions, produce gold, improve your army, or unlock new ways to scale your evil operation. The trick is finding where everything fits. Rotate buildings, connect them carefully, and discover powerful layout synergies that turn a messy cave into a perfectly packed engine of villainy.Between battles, expand your lair, unlock new buildings, and adapt your strategy to whatever the heroes throw at you next. Each run gives you new buildings, new synergies to chase, and new opportunities to create the most absurdly efficient monster factory your tiny lair can contain. Once your lair is ready, it is time to let your minions do what minions do best: charge directly at the problem.Watch your goblins, shaman lizardman, dragons and other questionable employees clash with waves of increasingly determined heroes. Your army fights automatically, but you are not just sitting back and hoping for the best. Cast different spells during battle to tip the odds, disrupt the enemy, and turn a heroic invasion into a heroic mistake.

  • Draft, rotate, and pack buildings into a cramped evil lair
  • Create powerful synergies through smart spatial placement
  • Build and unleash chaotic armies of minions
  • Cast spells during auto-battler combat
  • Expand your lair and unlock new buildings across each run
  • Enjoy fast, tactical roguelike sessions full of goblins, monsters, and heroic regrets

Being an evil lord is hard. Apparently, the real challenge is finding enough floor space for your army. Packed Lair offers a satisfying mix of base building, space management, and auto-battler combat. What I enjoyed most is that placement and build synergy actually matter. You need to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your setup—cramming in whatever looks powerful will only get you so far. The challenge feels about right: demanding enough to make you think, with that “one more run” appeal as you experiment and figure out what went wrong. The visuals and enemy variety are less impressive. Neither really grabbed me, so the appeal comes mainly from the strategic decisions rather than the spectacle. At the Thai full price of 165 THB, I think the quality and amount of content offer good value. Recommended if you enjoy experimenting with builds, making limited space work, and learning from failed runs. Build carefully. Your minions can fight the heroes, but they can’t fix your terrible floor plan.

Tried out the demo first, then decided to pick this up. It's fun and there's a lot of content at a great price point.

This game has very cool concepts when it comes to the lair-building aspect. The amount of combinations you can create with the buildings really feels like a lot. The feeling of having a compact/effective lair is unrivaled. P.S. Watching your army scale with your lair is very satisfying. (Also getting to mow down the enemy is pretty great)

Awesome game! Many different combinations of buildings/spells/units are possible, allowing a great variety of synergies and strategies.

This game reminds me a bit of backpack battles with how you make your build. Overall I am not that far into it but it seems like a fun game so far.

It's really fun to try different things with the lair and then see the effect on the battles. Can't wait to play more!
