I really dig this game so far. It's the definition of a hidden gem in the VR space. Not perfect, but with a couple small quality of life additions I think it could be a real masterpiece. So what does Pandora do right? MOVEMENT: The way you move in Pandora is unlike any other VR game I've played. You use your non dominate hand to grab the air and throw yourself around. The more force behind your throw, the faster and further you'll glide. Certain enemies also drop jump pads when defeated. These can be used to launch yourself up into the air. From there you can toss yourself to other jump pads to keep airborne or to make a quick get away from the overwhelming swarm of mobs that can start to spawn in. Combine this with the grappling hook upgrade you'll acquire, and all the tech just starts to click. I LOVE this! Now. There is one major gripe I have when it comes to the movement. Currently the game only offers Snap, or Smooth Snap Turning. The Smooth Snap is bearable enough, but I think my already great experience would be phenomenal with Continuous Smooth Turning. I really hope the developer can implement an option for it in the near future. As of now Snap Turn is the only thing I v…

I have seen some harsh Youtube reviews and I must say that my perception differs a bit. While the Movement is a different approach from basically anything of what I have played so far, the grabbing and pulling with the left hand is the closest thing to fast paced WASD movement (which I like). Compared to any teleportation or walking controls this really keeps the emersion and fast pace active. It's no slow zombie shooter. I guess you need a bit of a stomach to be able to get used to the fast pace. It works for me, but I think you should be aware of that. The one critique I have in terms of gameplay is, that the firing mechanic could use a little more oomph/impact than the bubbling of thousands of tiny bubbles popping. I think it would make the whole experience a bit more weighty. At first I had some issues with my Index not being automatically functional with the game. I reached out to the developers (Who are very nice and responsive, btw :)) and they helped me asap by showing me in depth on how to remap different keys. A day later -based on my feedback- they already had published a patch that fixed the issue. Now that's an awesome reaction and I salut to them for doing so.

Cool enemy design and smooth gameplay make this faced paced roguelite fun to play. Easy to pick up but hard definitely hard to master. High score system adds to the replay value and I found myself always coming back for more. Not a perfect game but for $10 I'd say it's worth jumping into. ^^

I just got the game and played for one hour, but for me it was just love at first sight, so I'm not waiting any further to put a thumbs up. You can tell this is a well crafted experience, the ambiance, the sound & visual quality is pretty high, it takes a little time to get use to and you'll have to learn the "code" of this game before you can fully understand how to play it, but once you get there you'll just want to keep playing.
