Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis

NGS sucks and they never should have ended PSO2.

Half of the game's fun is paywalled. You won't have as much fun as the people who paid for stuff in the game, and paying for stuff in this game doesn't feel good at all. Without premium status, most online features that's usually base-kit for MMORPGs are inaccessible. Combat is tedious & dull, even with gear considered "good" in the stage of the game you're in, you will somehow always be spending more time killing a boss than you expect to. So many crossovers that had potential to be great if it wasn't on this pushover game. PSO2 Classic is glorious, you can tell that they were capable of making a great MMORPG, they threw all that out the window with NGS. (Including Pyro's mask.) If you want to play Classic, it is downloadable in-game, but I think that there are better MMORPGs to play.

Phantasy star Portable 1 and 2 was better than whatever this game is now

Big pso2 player. On steam not so much but I played on the JP servers since around 2014. Spent thousands of hours in game. PSO 2 was amazing. NGS is pure dog water. They took all the good parts of PSO2 and stripped them from NGS. Its basically a glorified character creator with some combat elements and nothing to do. FYI its july 16th and their peak 24 hour players on steam is 914 players. Let that sink in. Thats how dead this game is. There must be one huge white whale making it profitable because thats a shame. Hell, even maplestory a 2d mmo has 12x the player count on steam charts sitting at 12,663. Let that sink in too.

the game is free but boring to get in to.... the controls are clunky...somthimg betuen dark solds and wow...you caqn make your caracter a tall robot mommy tho....thats a pluss

Amazing Gameplay and loop
