About Pixelpolis Neon
Welcome to Pixelpolis Neon, a playful retro city-building experience inspired by classics like SimCity 2000, reimagined in a neon-lit cyberpunk setting. Step into a glowing synthwave world, where creativity is the key to shaping your very own pixel metropolis.Build across 10 handcrafted maps (100x100 tiles each), each offering a fresh canvas for your ideas. With more than 400 unique buildings, all lovingly drawn by hand — no AI shortcuts here — you can design dazzling skylines, bustling districts, and neon-soaked streets that feel alive. While the focus is on creative placement and visual storytelling, there’s just enough challenge to keep you engaged: balance your population and goods, unlock bonus buildings, and advance through levels as your city thrives.Every corner of Pixelpolis Neon is infused with personality: from its vibrant pink-teal synthwave palette contrasting against the dark futuristic backdrop, to its immersive synthwave and dreamwave soundtrack, designed to keep you in the flow while your city expands. So grab your grid, place your first block, and watch your Pixelpolis Neon come alive in a world where retro charm and cyberpunk vibes collide.NOTE: The current Pixelpolis Neon version is not much more than a simple city-scape builder (like Dystopika). But after many requests for deeper gameplay, I’m now adding game mechanics. The coming version will feature a society system with social groups that influence how districts look. So far, there will be the Punks (Pink), the Cyborgs (Blue), and the Traditionals (Yellow). You will be able to support (or ignore) the needs of each group to shape your city-scape.

This game is nothing like Sim City if that's what you're thinking. It's just a sandbox you click around in and sometimes there's flying car animations, no goals, no Instructions, not structure and that's not the worst part, getting the roads to connect was near impossible. I'd rather play candy crush.2 found this helpful
Nice city builder, love the art style and music, looking forward to updates! My suggestions are: Multi-layer cities, roads and monorail, Weather and clouds, Spaceport, airport, power generators, Ability to build over water, Map editor, FPS settings (30fps is fine for this), Mod support.
Feature light but definitely a charming hidden gem
Great game to chill out, even if it stutters ? lags? often. Could use some explaining on what does what as well. Otherwise, its chill. good music. passes the time.
After reading your comments I think you are heading in the right direction. Best of luck to you as you build this! : ) I will keep apprised of your game as it grows. GBPII
