Bad things:
Bugs, bugs, bugs. I tried to play this game 10 times and only the 1st time the game maybe worked like it should and by that I mean that when I got to battery status low (30%) I started to lose HP and died because I didn’t know how to charge the robot. All other 9 times I had battery status excellent or good (60-100%) and I was losing HP like you do when you have low battery so before I am able to dig out needed resources and make needed researches to create a way to charge my robot battery I’m dead. There is also no way to fight back because when you find and egg it hatches into a basic enemy and your robot can’t attack that enemy or the egg and the turret you can summon can only kill basic enemy if it hits them 10 times while the turret is destroyed in 4 hits so you would need 3 turrets to kill a basic enemy but you can summon only 1 turret. Also the egg has as much hp as enemy that hatch from it so it also needs to be hi…4 found this helpful
Game is extremely rough (e.g. mouse-only control scheme for the most part with (almost) no hotkeys, "amusing" bugs like buying hundreds of items at once if you interact with the shop while paused, etc). Developer seems to have the (sadly far too common) misconception that tedium and RNG equals game balance. I _did_ have some fun with the game by working around the worst of the annoyances - but as it turns out said workarounds are considered bugs and will be getting patched out. (General PSA: the proper response to "X is annoying even with Y workaround" is not to nerf Y and ignore X. This is how you get players never actually providing feedback about the game - or in my case just leaving and moving on.) Considering that it is in early access, the same game with a different set of developer responses I might cautiously recommend. Given the responses that _have_ been given however, I cannot recommend this.3 found this helpful
Update: The price of this game has increased to $15 since I wrote my review. At $5, this game was an ok buy, but now, at a full price of $15, I do not see the value in playing this at that price in the current state. If the price was increased after many updates and Early Access ended, then I would be fine with that, but there are no listed updates in January of 2022 when the game went from $5 to $15. The last update current update listed as of 6/27/2022 was March 6, 2021. I did recommend this before, but now I can not. This game has lots of potential. I liked it even though I didn't know what I was doing during the first 40 minutes of playing. During the whole first run, I looked for how to charge my robot's battery. Do not forget that you have another robot to be summoned to fight for you. Also, the icons are very small on a 4K screen, making it hard to see what I was doing. Some enemies look just like Doctor Who's enemies. This is a very cheap game at only $5, and it is worth trying out. There is a demo, too, if you want to try this game out before you buy it. The game has a potential , it need more updates. it need some times to learn how to play, but once you managed to survive the first wave it become a straight forward to continue playing.
