Atmospheric horror set in Antarctica or some other cold place. Pretty cool intro but keep in mind it's super short - 15 minutes utmost!
Good short little game in Unreal engine 5 and runs buttery smooth.

Well, there is nothing. It basically does not exist. You walk (barely) through a couple of rooms, enter some cave, approach a floating Obelisk, and that's it. No idea how this piece ended up in my library.

Very short game. 15 minutes. AI Free. Voiceovers were great. Nothing too difficult. Wheels fall of doors so put them back on to progress. The creepy atmosphere is great and the voiceovers are great. Pity it ended in 15 minutes and the end sucked.... :( Would have liked to have seen this game go for an hour or 2...it' free so no loss there... No monsters, a walking sim with radio and atmosphere horror... Great game but sucky end

As other reviews and the "About This Game" will tell you, it's about a 15 minute long student project. However, it's highly commendable that this is one of the few Unreal Engine 5 projects that actually runs well on normal hardware. With large studios seemingly unable to actually optimise—and opting for Frame Generation and DLSS to stabilize the framerate for their 10'000gb games—Project Hailstorm is a shining example that UE5 games actually can run well and look good.

From the screenshots the game looked like you would explore a large abandoned base in the snow while trying to piece together what happened and possibly have some driving involved to get to other parts of the base? sadly no. Visually? it's a beautiful game the amount of detail of the snow itself, objects covered in snow, the really cool lighting in the snow area'a and set during a snow storm which always has potential (The Thing for eg) yet you only spent 5 min in it, before going indoors and all that potential just gets wasted as you can easily figure out what's going to happen as it's been done many times before with no real effort to mix things up. It's a shame since this game feels like a visual showcase rather than an interesting game/story to be told. If this game can be picked up by a publisher to be turned into a full game with potential to be interesting? i'd be down for that since as a concept this game works really well. Regardless it is a free game at the end of the day and do hope the best of luck for the creator in hopes of finishing this project.
