About R.E.G.O
A DARK STORYThe farm where you work stretches across a vast, isolated area, surrounded by trees so dense they swallow light and distort your sense of space. At night, fog crawls along the paths, muffling sounds and distances. Every noise feels too close, every shadow lingers too long. The feeling of being watched doesn’t arrive suddenly — it settles in and never leaves. With each passing night, new information emerges. The radio begins broadcasting updates about an ongoing police investigation: missing young people, repeating patterns, a possible serial killer operating in the region. What once felt distant starts to draw closer. While the police try to piece the puzzle together from the outside, you realize that certain discoveries only happen within the farm — and some secrets don’t want witnesses.
What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players praise the game's visual style and acknowledge it as a first project with potential, but criticize significant technical issues including the lack of save points (forcing single-session playthroughs), game-breaking bugs like non-functional camera switching, and poor playtesting overall. Additional complaints include untranslated Portuguese/Spanish dialogue, a generator that runs too quickly, and missing enemy encounters that seem intended but never materialize, suggesting the game needed much more polish before release.
I am going to cut the dev a little slack as it looks like this is his first game and had to learn the process from scratch. I am going to say recommend (yes) try it as it is free so it will cost you nothing accept a little time. The main downside for me was no save points. I got a decent way (I felt) into the game and then died, my only option was start a new game, that may put a lot of people off and indeed it is why I didn’t carry on the complete the game. Secondly I think the devs native tongue is Portuguese or Spanish (sorry I do not speak other languages so unsure) but some of the stuff in game was only in that language, 1 letter and also the VHS tape, so if that was an important clue, I simply did not get it. The 1st bit of the game I thought looked pretty good for the most part, the building/house layouts were a bit strange but the forest looked pretty good but then
when leaving the main house I was knocked unconscious by a creature and had to escape a room into some very basic, boring looking streets with some terrible monster design.
I died in this area and because I had no save game option I would have had to start again and sadly I wasn’t that con…1 found this helpful

Hmm... I realize this is the developer's first game, but did you actually play-test it properly before release? I tried pressing every key on the keyboard to switch the CCTV view, but only Camera 1 shows up; nothing else appears. The generator runs way too fast. The mysterious entities shown in the pictures and descriptions seem like they’re supposed to chase or scare you when you have hiding places like lockers or under the bed, but they never show up at all. Like I said, the developer really should have polished the game and verified that it works correctly before releasing it.
