About Raia Nova
In this world, a great tournament was created by the sage Sagathu. But when a mysterious mind wipe spell causes fighting, chaos, and memory loss, you begin to see there is much more happening beneath the surface. The world seems full of strange happenings. Investigate the frozen fortress holding the power of the Breaker. Enter the terrifying dream world of Dhalia, the flower that draws blood. Face the greatest magic user alive beneath the spires of the Shining City.
Raia Nova is challenging ARPG that lets you build and evolve your character as you progress. Destroy hordes of enemies with bombs, fireballs, earthquakes, ice beams, bubbles, magic daggers, plastic discs, crystal shards, plasma, and over 100 other abilities.
Items often grant abilities but you'll have to find them, or improvise with whatever you have. Take on big bosses and develop your strategies against them. More than just fighting through levels, experience a variety of mission types and challenges.

I don't know how to feel about this game. It has the feeling of a Student project, and from that metric it's pretty solid. However, this isn't their first game, so I expect it's more of a "Group of friends making games". There are some great ideas in the game: Neat ideas: Gear determines skills You can jump. In a Hack&Slash ARPG. Jumping actually has uses. Neutral idea: The talent system is open and about as interesting as any other similar passive system (Sphere grid, POE, etc) Could use work: The moment to moment gameplay feels stifled and stiff Optimization To the devs: Keep working on this, plug away at optimization. You've definitely got a gem worth polishing here.6 found this helpful
"Raia Nova" is an ARPG with boring action and boring RPG... this feels like a soulless student project, and ultimately it's not fun. But it's not terrible and it doesn't look like an asset flip, so that's something I guess. However, I firmly believe games should be fun. What do you do in the game? Well, it's rather shallow and repetitive top down brawling. With no real reason to want to do it. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a $15 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to buy some extra DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Yeah, 15 bucks. Why not ask for 50 bucks? 100?? How about paying gamers who bothered to play this? Wouldn't cost much... Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal t…3 found this helpful
