Recommended because great games. However, you will need to use an external tool such as RTSS to cap the frame rate to 54 if you want a more accurate game speed, but this unfortunately also adds a bit of input lag. Menus and features are also ass. Only 3 credits, which is a shame considering these games are hard as balls and were designed to milk quarters. Very half assed ports of great games. The newer Raiden Fighters Remix Collection on Switch and PS5 seems to be based off of this as it has all of the same problems but with a slightly less ♥♥♥♥♥♥ menu, so as is, there is no optimal way to play these games officially.1 found this helpful
Despite some fustration I would recommend this game if you are in for some challanges.

This is a top quality shooter, not as frantic as other bullet hell games but the pacing, music and level design are amazing.
Despite the game design being ruthless, it is a shmup classic collection of the Raiden series early releases, and as such is well worth the investment The enemy bullets may be too fast to dodge without serious skill, but if you can avoid feeling frustrated by this, it is a great deal of classic shmup magic at your fingertips, that will certainly not bore you, and possibly take a long time to complete, if ever If you are easily stressed, dont like games with steep learning curves, and are looking for an easy ride, then this game collection is not for you
