About Randal's Monday
Relive a cursed Monday over and over as a morally bankrupt thief trying to undo selling your best friend's engagement ring before the space-time continuum collapses. This classic point-and-click adventure is packed with three decades of geek culture references, pitch-black humor, and voice acting from the cast of Clerks, making it a love letter to retro gaming wrapped in twisted comedy.
Randal wakes up after the engagement party of his best friend Matt; he's ridden by a raging hangover and also has Matt's wallet in his possession. Inside the wallet is his engagement ring and without thinking of the consequences, Randal sells the ring - and thus gets struck by a terrible curse. Matt commits suicide and now Randal is forced to relive the same ill-fated Monday over and over, trying to undo his mistake.
Randal needs to retrieve the ring and sort his own life out, before things get any worse... Collapsing the whole space-time continuum-kinda-worse, in fact.
Attention geeks! Randal's Monday offers black humor of the finest sort, all kinds of pop culture references and all that packed tightly into classic Point & Click adventure gameplay. It's a tribute to a whole generation of gamers, readers and watchers of retro and contemporary sub-culture formats.
The game features an epic voice over with Jeff Anderson as Randal Hicks, and Jason Mewes as the one and only Jay, accompanied of course by his inseparable friend, Silent Bob... who says nothing at all.
Features:
- Playtime: depends totally on the time you've spent in front of your TV as a kid
- About a bazillion references to the geek culture
- No Zombies! (Let's be honest, they are kind of a feature nowadays...) Then again, in fact... We got some of those, so: ZOMBIES!
- A ton of unexpected twists... And even more twists you'll see coming from a mile away
- A hilarious script, written by the best friend of the neighbor of the guy who's Terry Pratchett's barber

In many ways, Randal’s Monday is a really solid and well crafted adventure game. That said, several of its puzzles felt frustrating rather than clever to me, and at times they completely killed the fun. Some solutions rely on overly complicated design or logic that’s hard to follow, which can make progress feel arbitrary instead of rewarding. The UI doesn’t help either and could have been handled much better. There’s clearly a lot of creativity on display, but sometimes it feels like the game leans too hard into that creativity and loses sight of what actually makes an adventure game satisfying to play. Still, if you’re a fan of the genre, it’s definitely worth checking out despite its flaws.15 found this helpful
Unplayable on widescreen, I can't even get into options or change the resolution cause everything is cut off for me. Refunding.1 found this helpful

I originally beat Randal's Monday on.. I want to say the Playstation 4 as I was looking for Point 'n' Click Adventure Games as I waited on my delayed Physical Edition of Broken Sword Reforged. The graphics leave a lot to be desired but I have a feeling this is a stylistic choice, the plot is wacky and zany straight out of an 80's Inspired Era which it clearly takes inspiration from but has some dated 00's references to enjoy which as we're all nostalgic for that era right now sits right at home in a comfortably little niche. You'll have a good time with Randal's Monday, and Randal's Tuesday and if it comes out i'll buy Randal's Wednesday. It was fun to re-visit this on PC.
nice game.
Un excelente juego de verdad, la narrativa siempre me atrapa, a pesar de saber la historia de antemano, excelente juego, banda, referencias, ambiente... Espero jugar pronto su secuela
